EnDOtec® DO*04 welding wire
Resistance to metal-to-metal friction, corrosion and temperature. Mechanical properties are stable up to 650°C.
Gas-shielded metal cored wire develped for producing anti-wear coating depositing steel alloyed with chromium, cobalt and molybdenum.
Features and benefits
- Hardness obtained with first pass and maintained to max 550° C working temperatures.
- Excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance at temperatures up to 650°C.
- Excellent metal/metal friction resistance at high temperatures.
- Ideal for use as cladding with no risk of cracking (hardness approx. 50 HRC).
- Tough, highly-creep resistant deposit.
- Good corrosion resistance in high temperature gaseous media: combustion chamber, diesel engine, valves, etc.
- Good corrosion resistance in saline environment, with cavitation resistance .
- No buttering layer necessary when coating heat-resistant steels of CrMo/CrMoV type.
