Brazing technology for joining hard metals to structural substrates
CarbiBraze is a new brazing alloy dedicated to the tooling industry. Even though its silver content is lower compared other alloys, it offers very good mechanical properties thanks to the Nickel and Manganese content. Additionally, these elements increase the wettability on sintered carbides.
CarbiBraze has a low working temperature and high fluidity. As a result, the properties of CarbiBraze ensure as little change of the base material properties as possible and low internal stresses after brazing, while still providing high quality joints.
