Role Description:

The Industrial Sales Specialist, under the direction of the Regional Manager, will primarily be responsible for managing retention and growth of assigned accounts utilizing company initiatives, programs, and resources. This position will build and maintain ongoing awareness of new products and services. This role will also develop and build relationships with new accounts to secure profitable business opportunities
Must have the ability to learn our product offerings and processes to provide best solutions for applications that fit the customers’ needs
Integrity, vision, professionalism and passion are key components of this position.


  • Manage, develop, and grow assigned accounts by cross-selling and identifying new applications  
  • Focus on reactivating inactive customers and recruiting new customers
  • Proficiently cold/warm call and qualify leads
  • Develop and support account plans and help achieve regional sales objectives
  • Align with internal resources to execute account plans
  • Deliver company value proposition via phone and e-mail on a daily basis
  • Provide value in every aspect of the customer experience
  • Understand end market trends and industry best practices
  • Complete targeted sales campaigns assigned by management
  • Maintain CRM system for each customer contact and activity
  • Place, monitor, and ensure timely shipment of customer orders
  • Other duties as assigned

  • 3+ years in industry sales or account management experience
  • Ability to listen and overcome objections
  • Excellent time management & organizational skills
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales objectives
  • Strong communication, organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to sell cost value vs pricing
  • Familiarity with office software and phone systems
  • Be willing to travel with key account executives/managers
  • Valid driver’s licence and working vehicle


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications or related degree
  • Previous industrial or manufacturing sales experience
