RSS
technology is used to create a "feed" (list) of headlines that you can
have delivered to you. For example, when we publish new headlines on a
site that supports RSS, those headlines can be added to a feed that you
can subscribe to. (Note that not every headline that goes up on a Web
site will automatically be sent to you. What you receive may vary
depending on how we update the feed.)
RSS feeds enable you to get update notifications delivered
directly to your desktop through the news aggregator software program
of your choice. RSS
offers a convenience because you can subscribe to feeds from several
Internet sites and automatically pull together headlines from all the
sources into one list. This lets you quickly browse the list of new
content without visiting each site.
In
order to receive RSS feeds, you need an RSS reader (Firefox 3 or Internet
Explorer 7 have an RSS reader built-in to the browser. You then subscribe to the Web site from
which you want to receive content, and the information will be
delivered automatically to your RSS reader. You can also use specialized websites such as (among others) www.netvibes.com or www.newsgator.com. These site are often used as start pages and allow you to see all your feeds at once when your browser starts.
How do I use Internet Explorer to subscribe to the Castolin RSS flux?
Go to www.castolin.com and click the link of the
icon
on the right side of the main page of the website. A page such as the following one should appear:

Click on "subscribe to this feed" (red arrow).

Then a new window appears. Click on "subscribe" (red arrow).

You should have successfully subscribed to the feed of Castolin.
How do I read the Castolin RSS flux in Internet Explorer?
When you open your browser, click on the 'favorite' star and then on 'feeds' (red arrows).

Select 'feeds' and then the flux of Castolin appears. Click on it.

It is done. You can now read the titles and the descriptions of the entry of the feed. Clicking on any item would redirect you to the whole article. Of course, you can subscribe to any other feed. Thus, you will be able to access all of your feeds from the same place.
