Plug & Braze : Castolin Eutectic introduces the perfect brazing flame

Tags: New Product

In January 2018, Castolin Eutectic launches the new revolutionary brazing equipment functioning on the basis of electrolysis, without gas and using water as sole fuel: Castolin dyomix© OHM 2.4. The machine is born from the collaboration with Bulane, a very successful French company born in 2009 in Montpellier, which has patented the dyomix© technology. The brazing equipment was awarded the gold medal at the Batimat Innovation competition in September 2017 in Paris for the category utilities and equipment, as well as 3rd prize at the Gaia Awards in Dubai, Big 5 Tradeshow, in November 2017.

Merry Christmas! You get nothing...

Tags: Diverse

Instead of employee and customer gifts, Castolin Scandinavia donates every Christmas to "Save the Children", an international organisation fighting for the welfare of children, especially those living in disaster areas.

Thanks to all donors, the organisation is now present in Syria, Yemen and many other countries where children live in the midst of a war and who need all our help to survive. Together we make sure that these children get food, blankets, education and a safe childhood. We are fighting for all children to have a safe and healthy upbringing, to make their voices heard and thus influence their situation. No child shall be subjected to violence, abuse or discrimination.

CarbiBraze: new dedicated solution for Tooling industry

Tags: New Product

Castolin Eutectic launches CarbiBraze, a new low-silver alloy for the tooling industry, with first-class mechanical properties owing to the Nickel and Manganese content. CarbiBraze is cost effective and economical due to the reduced silver content, providing at the same time excellent shear strength.

Its low melting range and the high fluidity ensure good diffusion bonding and lowest possible heat affection of the base material and the hard metal tools.

In the tooling industry, extreme mechanical resistance for the joints is key, therefore CarbiBraze is the optimal solution for manufacturers of drillbits, saw blades and cutting discs, manufacturers of drilling crowns and more.
