Castolin Eutectic understands that many customers prefer to focus on their core activities and choose to subcontract their maintenance work, especially in periods of peak demand or during emergency shutdowns. In response to the changing need of our customers, we have greatly expanded our network of specialty CastoLab® workshops to provide "turn-key" maintenance solutions.

Castolin Eutectic specialises in providing wear-facing, coating and emergency welding repairs. We have a database TeroLink©, with over 8000 proven application procedures. That means we have the know-how to do the job right the first time, on time. Our large and well trained permanent team of technical specialists ensures rapid response and high quality workmanship. Castolin Eutectic can either do the work on-site or in our CastoLab® workshops.

We have a general purpose facilities in most countries. These are augmented with our many highly specialised CastoLab® workshops with in-depth industry expertise. For example, we can handle individual work-pieces weighing up to 100 tons in our main Steel Industry CastoLab® in Belgium and have successfully completed the on-site repair of vertical roller mills and kiln tyres in cement industry worldwide.

Castolin Eutectic also fabricates wear-resistant components to replace worn OEM parts. We can normally offer replacement components with two to ten times the wear-life of OEM parts. These longer-lived parts often permit plant to operate for months longer between shutdowns, with major savings in downtime.
