To ensure our development and to improve our customer service, we have set up a cutting and processing workshop for our CDP® plates (wear plates) from the 25th of August 2008.In fact, due to the way this product range has grown over the last three years, our sub-contractor could no longer meet our demands. We therefore carried out a more in-depth study of the market, seeking new applications that we could use internally.
This study resulted in the decision to create specialised CastoLab® Services for the CDP® plates to increase responsiveness, control our production costs and our stock levels, and take market shares in new segments. CastoLab ® Services will also enable us to satisfy the growing demand from clients and to have a complete service, from the processing of the CDP® plates to surfacing operations.
This workshop, located at Verrieresle-Buisson, occupies an area of 750 m2. We have acquired a fleet of entirely new high-capacity machines and we have manufactured our first parts on the 1st of December 2008. To launch this business activity, we have recruited two people, Mr. Jacky Pothuaud Team Leader and Mr. Mohamed El Rhazouani, Boilermaker-Welder.

We will be organising visits for Castolin Eutectic staff in collaboration with department managers during the 1st quarter of 2009.
