On the 8th and 9th of October 2008 Castolin France welcomed more than 30 decision-makers and managers from cement works in France and Belgium to our Villebon premises. The programme of this seminar was not only training about the theoretical aspects of the maintenance and repair welding but was also illustrated by demonstrations on real parts.
After this very busy first day, our clients were invited to relax with a Parisian evening where they were entertained with an introduction to Brazilian folklore.
The second day focussed on the cement manufacturing process from the extraction to the bagging. The majority of Castolin Eutectic applications were presented and discussed with the participants.
The CastoLab® Services approach that is burgeoning in France was, of course, the centre of attention, to move from a supplier status to a service provider one.
Year after year, this event enables us to confirm our strong presence in the Cement market and is one of the reasons for our current success (a doubling of turnover in comparison with 2007, approaching 1M € at the end of 2008).
